I’ve been eagerly awaiting Noir’s Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection after seeing photos from their Fall 2006 dramatic all-black Collection. I had hoped to include their design in my ode to Project Runway’s Black and White episode but they hadn’t yet shown.
As luck would have it, Noir’s Spring Collection pays homage to black and white (with occasional punches of red). Here’s a peek:

A risque interpretation of this season’s trendy Victorian-styled blouse.

A menswear-inspired tuxedo top with beautifully sculpted pleats.

A menswear-inspired dress with bubble-like silhouette

A free-spirited, breezy white halter dress with shirred scoopneck
The Fab Factor: Noir’s use of fairly traded organic cotton.
The Fashion Verdict: Yin-yang pairings of white gauzy tops with black latex leggings and boots exude a tough-girl elegance.
The complete collection can be seen here.
